I go to my windows pc and start searching for ways to make a USB bootable drive in Windows. It fails on wired and wireless internet, as I try it again a couple times. I get though the installer prompts and it starts to install and fails, saying it couldn't download all the components. I go through the internet recovery options and go to re-install. User doesn't want anything off of it, so no problem in wiping it. So I do a quick search and try to launch recovery by holding Command and R and powering up. They didn't say what wen't wrong w the upgrade, but when I recieve it, it is showing the blinking folder icon with question mark. The user wanted to upgrade it to sell it and so proceeded to do so. So I've had a bit of a struggle with this macbook pro! It had Mac OS Lion 10.7 on it.
